 Stacy and Glenn Hejny founded The Road Church in 2010. God gave a clear vision that this would be a new and different church experience. Their heart was to see everyone encounter Jesus and grow to have a deep faith in their walk and their relationship with Jesus through learning to study the Word of God for themselves. 

In 2024 Pastor Glenn was unexpectedly called to glory. Stacy now serves as Executive Pastor and is carrying on the vision for The Road. Her passion is worship, which takes many forms she’s grateful to be part of at TRC: teaching, music, sharing everyday life with the church family, and loving others well. She and Glenn have 2 wonderful sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law and the best grandson ever.

Mark has been part of The Road Church band since 2013 and now serves as our Worship Pastor. He is passionate about worshiping God with a heart of obedience, teaching others the power of worship, and living a lifestyle that honors Romans 12:1. A talented musician and songwriter, Mark is grateful to use his gifts for God’s glory. He and his wife Shana, along with their children Skylar and Jayden, feel blessed to serve the Ennis community they’ve always called home.

Barbra, our Children’s Pastor, was born and raised in Uganda, where her passion for teaching kids about Jesus began in Sunday school. Her journey led her to serve as a youth leader, work with Berakhah Childcare, and earn an Advanced Studies Diploma in Children and Family Ministry from Christ For The Nations. Since joining The Road Church in 2022, Barbra has been dedicated to helping children discover who they are in Christ. She and her husband Godfrey, along with their children Vanessa, Abigail, and Adlean, are committed to shaping young hearts to follow Jesus.
