 Stacy and Glenn Hejny founded The Road Church in 2010. God gave a clear vision that this would be a new and different church experience. Their heart was to see everyone encounter Jesus and grow to have a deep faith in their walk and their relationship with Jesus through learning to study the Word of God for themselves. 

In 2024 Pastor Glenn was unexpectedly called to glory. Stacy now serves as Executive Pastor and is carrying on the vision for The Road. Her passion is worship, which takes many forms she’s grateful to be part of at TRC: teaching, music, sharing everyday life with the church family, and loving others well. She and Glenn have 2 wonderful sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law and the best grandson ever.

Mark has been part of The Road Church band since 2013 and now serves as our Worship Pastor. He is passionate about worshiping God with a heart of obedience, teaching others the power of worship, and living a lifestyle that honors Romans 12:1. A talented musician and songwriter, Mark is grateful to use his gifts for God’s glory. He and his wife Shana, along with their children Skylar and Jayden, feel blessed to serve the Ennis community they’ve always called home.

Mike and Lindsey have been a part of the Road Church since they moved from Ft Worth to Ennis in 2018 following a calling the Lord placed on their hearts. They began to seek God in a way they never had before. Through this journey Mike has earned his Associate of Divinity and is pursuing his bachelor’s degree. Lindsey is the Manager of the thrift store at Helping Hands. Their desire to love and serve others is apparent in how they live their lives, and God has been drawing them to share this in ministry to children and their parents. They are excited to step into new roles as Chidren’s Pastors. They have 4 amazing children of their own, and one handsome grandson. Mike and Lindsey consider it an honor and a privilege to serve the children of The Road Church.
